About PNW Climate Week
Pacific Northwest Climate Week is a community-powered event series that unites individuals and organizations and accelerates the fight against climate change. this empowering, week-long gathering brings together climate innovators, thought leaders, and enthusiasts from vibrant cities like Seattle, Vancouver, and Portland.
Built on similar success stories like NYC Climate Week and SF Climate Week, PNW Climate Week will showcase a diverse range of events and shine a spotlight on the region as the leading global hub of climate innovations.
This year, we are collaborating and coinciding with the Bloomberg Green Festival, as climate warriors from around the globe converge on the Pacific Northwest.
Themes
This year is marked by accelerated movement of funds, entrepreneurship, workforce, and regulatory support toward the global climate mission.
As such, PNW Climate Week will focus on three main themes:
-
It takes a village! Everyone has a role in the climate challenge. Whether youโre a job seeker, entrepreneur, corporate employee, investor, public servant, academic, or just climate curious - there is a way for you to attend, learn, participate and contribute. Not sure how - check out our growing list of events!
-
The first step in making a difference is understanding the challenge, its scope, and the areas of potential impact. A diverse array of event formats will ignite the passion for climate newbies and allow veterans to expand their knowledge.
-
Take action, together. From landing a job to finding a co-founder and connecting with customers, there are events for your stage in the journey. If youโre raising capital or looking to deploy it the Founder-Investor track will be the place. Here to promote legislation or meet policy makers? Why not host a climate policy event - we can help.
